Our spacious dining room with its high peaked ceilings, 30 foot tall fireplace, and large picture windows make an ideal location to dine in the magnificent mountains of the Absaroka Range of northern Wyoming. Serving 3 meals 7 days a week, we insist on good home cooked food with prompt professional service. All of our dishes are prepared from scratch using only the freshest ingredients available. The morning menu’s highlight has got to be the skillet breakfasts or saddle blanket pancakes. Dinnertime is accented by fine appetizers, handcut steaks and scrumptious desserts.
We proudly use Caffe Ibis Organic Espresso beans. Come on in for a tasty Latte, Cappuccino or one of our fabulous Tepee Temptation Espresso drinks.
The Tepee Tavern is a unique little lounge with a big atmosphere. With elk, deer, moose, and buffalo mounts adorning the walls, a hunting lodge atmosphere abounds. The historic pictures of Buffalo Bill and his hunting parties near Pahaska are a great addition to the Tepee Tavern experience. Of course the pictures of Buffalo Bill in front of the Irma Lodge house with Bob’s two uncles and father are his favorite in the lounge. The beautiful antique bar from Breckenridge Colorado was made in 1872. Opposite the huge original mirror of the back bar you can see the spectacular Gump Glass stained glass mountain scene window. So come in and sit by the fireplace, listen to the local characters spin a yarn or two, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of our Tepee Tavern.
